Home and Vehicle Modifications

Sometimes a house, apartment or vehicle needs to be modified in order for someone with a disability to stay in the community, or just enjoy their home to the fullest. We have gathered resources for people who want to add a ramp, lifts, grab bars and other access improvements to their home and cars.

Stavros' Funding Workshops

Learn about funding options and resources for home or vehicle modifications. These workshops are free and are held once a month in our Springfield office.

Home Sweet Home program

Stavros' Home Sweet Home program is a program that helps consumers get the ramps they need at their home.

Home Modification Loan Program

The Home Modification Loan Program provides no- or low-interest loan program for people with disabilities to modify their homes through access improvements. The loan program is a project of the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission. Eligible modifications include ramps, accessible bathrooms, grab bars, visual safety alarm systems and other modifications that individuals with various disabilities may need to live independently or safely within their homes and communities.
