Home Sweet Home

Stavros runs a program called Home Sweet Home. This is a program that benefits many of the folks in the areas we serve who are in need of wheelchair ramps and durable medical equipment(DME) to safely access their homes and community. From July 1, 2007 till June 30, 2008, we completed an AMAZING 68ramps and placed over 130 pieces of DME.

We need donations of money, supplies, or time. Please consider participating in making your neighborhood more accessible!

We are looking for sponsors, individuals or businesses, to make even more ramps possible! All sponsors can have their names placed on a plaque attached to the ramp, so this is a great way to help your community and increase your company's visibility at the same time.

The ramp program is a coordinated effort of donation of materials and funds, volunteers, and the local vocational technical schools to build modular ramp units and then install the ramp at the slated locations. We are looking for retired, disabled or just plain interested builders/contractors to share their expertise.

These are sturdy, temporary ramps that will provide safe access based on the Minnesota Ramp Project modular ramp model. For more information, email Lois Brown at Stavros or call her at 800-804-1899, ext. 240.
