Director of Development

The Director of Development is responsible for strategic planning, managing, and executing all aspects of philanthropic activities at the Stavros Center for Independent Living. Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and other volunteers and staff colleagues, the Director of Development is the key driver of the organization’s efforts to generate contributions in support of its programs and mission.

 Among the responsibilities of this position is the development and implementation of the annual development plan, including the identification, cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation of current and potential individual, corporate and foundation donors, the management and creation of appeal letters and solicitation materials, including web-based fundraising strategies.  Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.  AA/EOE You may apply at Indeed or by sending your cover letter and resume to: Stavros, 210 Old Farm Rd. Position: Registered Nurse Contract

Contract RN needed to complete in home evaluations in Hampden County and surrounding area for state funded program. Requires at least 1 year community health experience, knowledge of disabilities and community resources. Proficiency with medical documentation and reliable transportation required. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
