Outdoor Access

We live in a great place for outdoor recreation – ponds and rivers for kayaking, forests for hiking, hills for skiing. There’s no reason why having a disability should slow you down, and thanks to Outdoor Access you won’t have to. Whatever the season, Outdoor Access gets you outside and into the fun of seasonal sports and recreation. Meet new people, try new things and get in shape!

Stavros Outdoor Access has modified equipment so you can kayak with hand or use an adaptation for a weak grasp, travel in a mountain wheelchair or try a sit-ski! OA provides staff and volunteers to assist with transfers on the trails, on the water and snow to have a great experience!

No wheels, no worries!

Stavros also provides transportation to these great events!

Together with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Outdoor Access offers opportunities for individuals with any kind of disability to enjoy the outdoors with the latest in accessible equipment and the assistance of skilled and experienced staff.
