New Available Community Based Housing Units

Twin City CDC is opening a new development in Fitchburg with two fully accessible CBH units , a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom that will be available in June . These CBH units will have project-based section 8 subsidy. To apply please contact Cornu management at 978-345-1880. Applications can be downloaded from their website As with all CBH units, the individual must have a disability, not be a DMR or DMH client, and be either in an institution or at -risk of institutionalization.

MHFA

The most comprehensive lists of housing openings we have found is at the Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) website. Either go to the MHFA website for their lists or you can download them using the icon below if you have Adobe reader software installed. MHFA will also send a free copy to you upon request.

The Mass Accessible Housing Registry is a free online program that matches people with disabilities with accessible housing in the community. The new Mass Access website features a user-friendly design and an expanded database of all affordable rental housing in Massachusetts, including accessible and adaptable units for people with disabilities.

HAP serves people in Hampshire and Hampden counties. HAP provides a wide range of services to tenants, homebuyers, homeowners, and rental property owners.

Franklin County Regional Housing Authority serves the housing and community development needs of the Franklin County and North Quabbin regions in northwestern Massachusetts.
