Western Mass Recovery Learning Community

The Western Mass RLC supports individuals who have a mental health diagnoses, have experienced extreme states and/or are trauma survivors in finding their own paths to recovery within the communities of their choice by offering trauma-informed peer supports and through the development of a regional peer network. We opened our doors at our first Resource Connection Center (RCC) in Holyoke in late July of 2007, and so many of our activities are currently in Holyoke.

However, we offer supports in all four counties of Western Mass and have satellite Resource Connection Centers in Greenfield, Pittsfield and Springfield. All supports provided are offered by individuals with lived experience with being diagnosed with a mental illness, extreme states and/or as trauma survivors. There is no membership process or eligibility requirements and individuals are considered to be part of the RLC community simply by coming or calling in to one of our RCC's or taking part in one of our workshops or events. Each month, we send out a calendar of workshops, classes, trainings and events.
