Mass MATCH
MassMATCH is the Commonwealth's initiative to Maximize Assistive Technology (AT) in Consumer's Hands. Through partnerships with community-based organizations, MassMATCH is currently creating new AT programs and working to coordinate AT services throughout the Commonwealth. Their mission is to promote the use of assistive technology and assistive technology services to enhance the independence of people with disabilities, enabling equal participation in all of life's activities.
MassMATCH is now offering a Short-Term Device Loan Program Online! It allows you to borrow equipment, free of charge, from the inventory of the Assistive Technology Regional Centers (ATRCs). You can search the inventory to see what is available. Since this inventory involves equipment and products from two Assistive Technology Regional Centers in different parts of Massachusetts, some equipment that you choose may not be available at your local ATRC. Your local ATRC staff will contact you to discuss options.
Device loans are useful if you are considering a purchase and want to "test drive" a particular product, if you need a loaner while your equipment is out for repair, if you are an educator or employer seeking an equipment trial, or if you need a device for a temporary disability.
Some Stavros Programs
SHINE Counselor at Stavros: as a service to the community, now has a SHINE Representative who can help people over age 65 OR people who are disabled and on Medicare. Please call Linda Mason at 1-(800) 804-1899, extension 284 for questions or an appointment.
Stavros' Home Sweet Home Program is a program that benefits many of the folks in the areas we serve who are in need of wheelchair ramps and durable medical equipment to safely access their homes and community.
Stavros' Personal Assistance Services Program enables people with long term disabilities to live at home rather than in a nursing facility by providing the funds to hire personal care attendants (PCA) who help with daily living activities.

It's an all encompassing community that meets basic needs, but also educates its audience about their conditions and strives to improve the overall quality of their lives.
