Stavros, The Disability Policy Consortium (DPC,  BCIL, and MetroWest Independent Living Center continue to advocate for H 1246.

This bill protects the home ownership for people on Medicaid and CommonHealth.

If you have a house you want to leave to your children – act now! It’s important now more than ever to contact your members on the House Ways and Means committee. We are trying to get the bill to get advanced to the House Ways and Means to the floor of the House for a vote.

We have no guarantee that House Ways and Means Committee will advance the bill, but it is great that it advanced from Health Care Finance to House Ways and Means, and if House Ways and Means did advance the bill further, it would be on the floor of the House for a vote before the entire House of Representatives, which is the goal!
