I Care: A Documentary About Independent Living
Alexander Freeman, filmmaker and disability advocate, spent three years creating I Care: A Documentary About Independent Living. The film discusses the importance of Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) for individuals living with disabilities who wish to live independently. The film features Carmen Rosado, Advocate/Peer Counselor, and her PCAs. Given the upcoming changes MassHealth is proposing statewide it is important to understand the real world implications this will have for consumers. The PCA and consumer relationship is truly unique and we thank Alexander for the work he did creating this vital documentary.
