The US Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services entered into a settlement agreement with Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) to address disability discrimination.
Most of us have heard horrible stories about elders being physically and sexually abused in nursing homes. The Atty. Gen.’s office wants to make the perpetrators pay for these heinous crimes! Below you will see additional fines for criminals who abuse elders in nursing homes. In addition we have attached testimony in support of this bill.
